Reflex, the UK's longest established Progress Recruitment Agency has just
been contacted by one of it's well established clients to find the following
person for them:
**** Senior Progress A/P in South East London, UK *****
The company is looking for an experienced Progress developer with a minimum
of 2 years programming experience to join their RAD development team.
Ideally the person will have a mixture of ChUI & GUI based Progress and will
be looking for a role within a small team (3) to work on new development
projects.
The Rapid Application Development team, as the name suggests, has strict
delivery deadlines and the successful applicant must be able to work under
pressure, whilst still producing software of a high quality. The team
handles the full life cycle of small custom projects, from requirements
to delivery. The job involves clarifying requirements with their customers,
then quoting, designing, writing program specifications, coding, unit
testing, system testing, releasing the software and supporting
it for three months after implementation. The successful applicant must
have sound programming skills, a methodical approach, pay attention to
detail, find creative solutions and above all, have good written and
verbal communication skills. It may be necessary to travel to customer
sites, both in the UK and abroad, from time to time.
The position will have a salary of between 25k - 40k GBP + good bens,
dependent on exp.
