We are creating a new position at SDD for a "Software Test Engineer" to
support our JAZZ Enterprise product. JAZZ Enteprise is a telecommunications
and internet services billing and accounting system. JAZZ software enables
owners and managers of commercial properties to resell telephone and
internet services to guests and tenants within their properties. Our
software is in many of the worlds most prestigious hotel, resort, and
tenant properties.
This new software test engineer person would consolidate and integrate
all of our software test and quality assurance processes and technology.
You would build test cases, build test data, execute those test cases,
provide analysis of problems, and track their resolution with the
development team. You would also manage SDD's test technology including
servers and tools. (You would also write tools to enable testing and
analysis where applicable). Defining, organizing, and deploying releases of
the JAZZ software would also be part of this job. Other quality, usability,
scalability/volume testing responsibilities are possible as the job evolves.
We are seeking an individual with a passion for data bases, data, detailed
analysis, and software usability and quality. Experiences and strong
thoughts on how to pursue software quality and testing are equally or more
important than direct Progress programming experience. SDD is based in
Delray Beach, Florida. The position is available immediately in Delray
Beach.
