Have you actually paid any attention to my last 2 replies? I take it from the fact that this isn't spelt correctly in either attempt that you haven't attempted to actually research your question. Find the documentation on DB management on the Progress website and show some evidence that you have researched your issue before you post please.

I'll leave this one open because from time to time people do take pity on people like you.
 
The correct spelling is "semaphore". Google is your friend. :)

Open the Progress Database Administration PDF manual and search for semaphore. You will get the information you need.
