Sales Analysis Files

Hi Peggers
We are running mfg/pro 8.5g. Does anyone know of a utility to rebuild
the sales analysis files (cph_hist, prh_hist, etc.) from tr_hist? I
checked in 36.25 but did not see anything.

Try 9.25.2 (utsabild.p).

Cathi,

Be careful about using the UTSABILD utility - Before running it you must
first delete the all records from your sales analysis tables that match your
selection criteria. There is a bug ( or a feature, depending on your
viewpoint ) in the 8.5F version of the program. The rebuild utility
accumulates Sales values by invoice date, whereas the invoice post program,
which normally creates the records , accumulates them by GL effective date.
This can produce strange results if effective dates and invoice dates are
not the same. We ended up having to modify this to get correct results.

I do not know if that was fixed in your version you should probably check it
with QAD.
