Why are 'bugs' and 'known issues' exist in release notes, which don't exist on the online Knowledge Base?

After many weeks of not having SSL enable on my WebSpeed brokers/agents, the answer to the problem was available to me all the time. The but answer was not published on the online Knowledge base, but it was in the release notes of OE11. Very frustrating.

Sometimes the answer is at the last place you look :)
As for release notes vs knowledgebase it kinda sorta makes sensw. Release notes are most likely assembled at "release" time and knowledgebase is accumulated "post release" knowledge. As much as I enjoy figuring things out myself, I'm also not shy about picking up the phone so I can talk to a person in Bedford :)

It took progress technical support 41 days to resolve this issue. I had to do numerous tests, debugging, logging and building lots of virtual machines on different platforms to get an answer.
