RedHat ES 3

does anyone know, when progress will have support for RH ES 3 ??, its been working fine for me in testing and is really quick, like a bulkload and a reindex in under 3 mins on a 500MB DB

The only problem i get is
Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno or h_errno directly. Needs to be fixed.

We are looking to do some benchmarking on RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 AS using Progress 9.107. We'll be throwing a heavy batch processing load at the databases to show how much quicker the Intel platform will be over the current Tru64 systems.

Does this match what you have been using at all?

Only problem is I don't have much time to try this all out, so I can't afford to go down the ES 3 road unless I can be sure of results.

Progress just informed me that support for RedHat Enterprise Linux 3 AS will not be coming out until 9.1D09 which is slated for end of April. It had been slated for release at end of February, but something has made them slip.

Cheers
