Junior Software Support Specialist for ERP Software QAD MFG/PRO

Blackhawk Automotive Plastics, opening a new facility in Mississauga,
Ontario, Canada, is accepting resumes for a QAD MFG/PRO Junior Software
Support Specialist.
Considering local candidates only at this time.
Must be able to travel to the U.S.
Experience/Requirements:
1-2 years prior software support or help desk experience with MFG/PRO,
which includes direct, phone and Email support. Ability to handle multiple
priorities at the same time and handle escalation within appropriate time
frames. Must be able to interface with different departments to obtain
the best solution. Strong documentation, customer support, professional
demeanor, and follow-up skills are required. Solid knowledge of ERP
software in particular MFG/PRO. Must be able to work independently as
well as with support specialists and IT management from other facilities.
Position requires some after-hours availability.
Desirable:
Experience in the Automotive field.
Experience with MFG/PRO version EB2.
Basic experience utilizing Microsoft office tools, Microsoft project,
and help desk documentation software.
Job Description:
Initial responsibility will be to serve in a support role, teaming up
with corporate IT, in the implementation of MFG/PRO EB2 at the Mississauga
facility. Ongoing, the ideal candidate will perform software support for
all the MFG/PRO EB2 users in the Mississauga facility. This support will
include handling initial problem reporting, testing, documenting and
follow up on issues to resolution. The ideal candidate will also be able
to process these activities into productive suggestions. Support of the
facilities press monitoring and bar coding software will also be part of
your daily duties. Back up support for other facilities may be required
at times. Implementation of other modules as needed and sponsored by
management. You will be part of, working with and supported by an excellent
experienced team of software support specialists who work out of 3
different Blackhawk Automotive facilities. You will also be required to
work with outside software consultants at times. We are offering an
exciting ground floor opportunity with a growing company.
