What do people think about having some level of SNMP support in the Premise Connector? Enabling network management tools to see information on the connection between the Datadirect Cloud service and the database being connected to. Is the connection up? How long has it been up? Which server is it connected to? How much data has been sent? Received? Perhaps contact information - if a tool sees the Connector on the network, whose is it? name? phone? email? Thinking what a network management person inside a corporation would find helpful if they were to come across these Connectors on their network. Of course, the use of the SNMP support would be entirely up to the user. Smaller shops could choose to ignore it entirely.
