Would it be possible to be told how many new topics have been added or replied to when I return instead of just having a red folder?

Thanks for the suggestion James, this is a really good idea. I will try to add a link under "Today's Active Topics" which will say how many new topics/posts there are since your last visit, with the link taking you to a list of them to make it easier to see them all. Just give me a few days and I will see if I can code these changes.
