Integrated Systems and Services Group currently seeks a Progress
developer who will enjoy the opportunity to work on a myriad of
interesting projects, including:
* Product development: ISSG produces and maintains several
applications, including:
+ eFramework: Integration and application development tool
set built on WebSpeed.
+ TPT: Bolt-on to QAD's MFG/PRO that allows secure trading-partner
access to a company's MFG/PRO system.
+ MS CRM Data Bridge: Bi-directional connections between Microsoft's
CRM application and several Progress based ERP systems, including
MFG/PRO, MXP and Apprise.
+ VerticalMart: Content management and shopping cart application
(and more!).
* Customer support: Support ISSG's large install base of customers.
* Custom project development:
+ Travel and meet customers face-to-face for detailed design sessions.
+ Manage projects.
+ Sling code like there's no tomorrow.
+ Deliver it.
We believe that successful applicants will have the following skill sets:
* Daily use and development in Progress WebSpeed for 2 or more years.
* Daily vanilla p4gl coding for three or more years.
* ISSG products and custom projects touch upon nearly all aspects of
Progress technlogy.
Although this position will be focused on web related tech, other skills
are of great interest and will give you a leg up on the competition.
ISSG has two physical offices: Little Falls, NJ and Atlanta, GA. Many
ISSG employees also work from home offices very effectively, although
new hires should expect to put in a lot of "face-to-face" time in the
first months of employment.
