Hi,
I wonder if anyone can assist me with a problem I am having.
At present we have a Progress v9 database running on AIX 5.2.
We use the Openlink ODBC drivers to connect into it from Access via port 5000.
We are in the process of migrating the server to a external host. Something that the great minds in finance didn't think of was the fact that several access databases would lose connection to the server.
The new server uses puTTy terminal window to connect via SSH.
We now need to get ODBC working via a SSH tunnel in order to re-enable an ODBC connection.
Is anyone able to offer a guide as to what tunnel ports and settings are required to allow us to use ODBC to rejoin the Access database and the Progress v9 database?
Thanks
Freddy
