The Grand Rapids Public Schools is accepting applications for a Systems
Analyst. The SA provides technical expertise to the district through
Progress Programming, development, design, maintenance and improvement
of information systems that address the needs of the district for
accurate and timely student record information and other related data.
Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is required;
five years experience in programming and system analysis preverred;
working knowledge of relational database architecture, 4GL are required;
working knowledge of Progress preferred; experience in working with
UNIX, and Windows operating systems is preferred; working knowledge of
MS Access, Visual Basic, HTML, and Webspeed desirable.
