Established in 1984, Precision is a specialist software development
and support company. Precision develops top-quality state-of-the-art
software products in the area of shipping, logistics, export, import,
freight transport and E-Commerce. Precision's main product is: TRA/X
developed with PROGRESS Application and Data Base Tools, targeting
open systems (NT, Unix and AS/400 platforms).
Due to an increase in development work an opportunity has arisen for
a Progress Developer to join our Development Team based in our office
in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two
years experience using recent releases of PROGRESS DB and 4GL.
Knowledge of the logistics business would be an advantage. Duties
include investigation, consulting, analysis, design, coding and
support. Some travel will be required.
