Progress Programmer needed for our client's project involving data-mapping
and uploading exports from MFG/PRO eB to their customer's Oracle-based
system. Candidates must be willing to work on-site at least 50% of the
time for the first part of the project duration, telecommuting will be
possible afterwards.
This is a contract position which could lead to more work. Details follow.
Location:
Northeast Ohio (near Cleveland)
Duration:
7-9 weeks approximate duration
Rate:
$40-48/hour DOE
Start Date:
Mid- to late January, 2003.
Required skills:
* 4+ years experience with Progress Programming (version 7-9)
* Must possess understanding of RDBMS table relationships in a
customer order entry system.
* Must have some experience with UNIX scripting and FTP.
* Data migration / mapping experience (e.g., system conversions,
system integration projects, EDI, etc.)
* Ability to work remotely under light supervision.
* No H1-B sponsorships considered at this time.
Desired, not required:
* Microsoft NT and VB
* MFG/PRO (8, 9 or eB)
