Jenark Business Systems, a leading Progress ISV located in the
Washington DC suburbs, providing solutions to the Real Estate Management
industry, is seeking an additional DBA/SA to add to our existing team.
We are looking for a self-disciplined, professional IT person with at
least 3 years of experience. Familiarity with the following is a must:
* Progress V8, V9, GUI and Appserver
* Windows, Linux, SCO, HP-UX, AIX
* Windows NT/2000, Network Administration
Duties Include:
* Maintaining mission critical databases for both client and
internal systems
* Tuning, optimizing, indexing and monitoring database servers
* Performing upgrades, recoveries and dump/reloads as needed
* Working closely with both internal Progress developers and
client personnel
* Performing database software upgrades as necessary
