Location: Huntsville, AL. Rate: Negotiable
Responsibilities:
* Database tuning/maintenence
* Database replication
* Installation of service packs
* Database management (100+ production servers -
several hundred meg's to 2 GB)
Skills/Requirements:
* Progress DBA (v 9.x)
* Progress AI (After Image) strategy and implementation in
a distributed server environment.
* AIX Unix
* Shell Scripting
Desired Skills:
* Perl 5.8
* Progress 4GL (Chui)
* Ability to work in a team enviroment.
