As an oem vendor in an effort to boost security we are no longer allowed to ship openssl libraries. Which means we do not include the libddssl library. Which is ok for SSL support, given the SSLLibName and CryptoLibName options. But most of NTLM relies solely on the libddssl library. Thus our customers are unable to use any NTLM authentication that requires the libddssl library. Having NTLM split out into its own library and/or an option similar to SSLLibName/CryptoLibName would help boost security and help oem vendors avoid such issues.
