[Progress Communities] [Progress OpenEdge ABL] Forum Post: SQL Client Access Licensing

Progress newbie with a quick question around 10.2b licensing. I need to connect to older version of Progress 10.2b via odbc. Databases are all 32 bit versions with relevent client licenses. However, can I download and use the 64 bit version of SQL Client Access product and setup a 64 bit ODBC connection? Documentation on ESD refers to a free download but our IT team has indicated we can only use the 32 bit and would have to purchase 64 bit licenses? Thanks Kern
