JPMeister, Just fyi I do not believe this is an issue in WIN7...just WIN8 and above. If you find a better solution please let me know as I am not aware of a way to prevent prowcini.exe from writing to that registry key. That is how it knows what version the client is on and if it needs to pull updates from the WebServer. Roger
