Thanks, Dapeng! > One thing I want to point out is that in Redo Phase, not all the block updates will turn into actual writes. And most likely there were actually the /reads/. As far as I know db was started with -B ~ 3,000,000. 292,420 of updated db blocks used only small part of this memory. So Physical Redo Phase created 28.92 MB/sec of disk reads. It looks as a reasonable number for random disk reads.
