And even without an OE upgrade … referencing an upgraded version of a 3 rd party assembly. Also without GUI for .NET, we all have seen service packs or hot fixes that required a recompile to apply / fix a certain issue. This will also require deploying r-code without changes to the source code. SCM is not the answer to everything (it is the answer to a lot)
