Unless the code that is being compiled is using something that was added in the hotfixes and so won't be supported in the earlier releases, I don't see that there will be an issue. In fact, Unless I am mistaken, I believe you could compile in say, 11.6 and use it in 11.3 (there is a brief exception window in the OpenEdge 10 timeframe when 32bit and 64bit rcode didn't mix).
