The Java openclient gets all the cool new improvements and fixes. For now we just avoid taking PASOE instances offline during business hours since that causes problems, and gives users the impression that we don't support high availability in our load-balancer. In reality, the problems are momentary ... but users still don't appreciate it when their apps crash or return an unintelligible communication errors. Thanks for the tips.
