Sounds like you’re running your launch config/ project as TTY . TTY _ should _ show the alert box if you’ve coded it to. Not sure why it wouldn’t. For the former, open the project properties and select the Progress OpenEdge node. There’s a checkbox that switches between TTY and GUI runtime. For the latter, open the Run Config, and look near the bottom of the Main tab. There’s a checkbox that switches between TTY and GUI runtime.
