Both cases were reported to TS: 00354526 Accessing blob field results in 'failure in large object operation, error = -8' I only received a customer database with this issue, case was not reproducible. Even identifying corrupt records was too much work (the only way to identify the record was to read it, which crashes the AVM). 00323822 Intermittent _progres crash when calling COPY-LOB with DataServer for MS SQL Server This case has also been closed for now.
