I've now dumped and loaded the DB onto my laptop running Windows 10 and OE 11.7. I created the PASOE instance using a shared memory connection and the result is night and day. Overall performance is much much better. If I can now get the same result on our Linux server life will be great. Since i'm running vanilla OE 11.7 on Windows i'm going to install the same vanilla version on our production server (currently on 11.7.4) and see if maybe there is something in SP4 that is hindering the performance.
