Hello cverbiest, You may want to take a look at this article for tuning semaphores on Linux: knowledgebase.progress.com/.../Database-stops-abnormally-after-showing-the-error-10839 The errors you have listed suggest an insufficient configuration for the system and the users of the system. I agree that to find what the value should be you have to use ipcs -s to find out how many semaphores are commonly being used. Then you can adjust the semaphores accordingly. Thank you
