Hello, I believe that the issue is caused because you are trying to set the type through advance mode of the widget property editor while in basic mode you still have " All categories " as the selected option for " Which categories to display? ". Based on this I would suggest you select the radio button for " Only categories used by content type... " and select the blogPost type from there. It will be best to submit such issues, that block your usage of the product, via the support channel as this is the fastest way to escalate those to development teams.
