And 16.9 GB is also the real size of the backup file, isn't it? Or it's only what probkup reported? Db blocksize is 4K. Each block stores only one record that uses in the most cases just a bit more than a half of the block space. Table seems to have a lot of the array fields. Probkup does not have any chances to create the output file smaller than table size. Maybe it's the aliens who create the space anomaly in backup file?
