As has already been alluded to, Progress 9 is ancient, obsolete and unsupported. Learning it is a big waste of your time, quite frankly. And that becomes even more apparent when you can get a free version of a modern release for the purposes of learning here: www.progress.com/.../classroom-edition It's great you want to learn, but please do so on a current release.
