[Progress Communities] [Progress OpenEdge ABL] Forum Post: Is there a way to define a timeout when trying to connect to AppServer using DirectConnect

By default, with an ABL client, an attempt to connect to an AppServer seems to give up after 5s. As we are now trying to play with multiple AppServers, we would like to detect an AppServer down case quicker. Is there a way to define a kind of connection timeout for this case? Note: we use Sessionfree with -DirectConnect for these AppServers because we do not use any NameServer on purpose (these AppServers reside on the DB box for the sake of using Shared Memory Connections) Just in case, I have tried to use -nsClientDelay 1 but it has no effect (bound to NameServer connectivity)
