The OpenEdge installer is currently not capable of fixing a corrupted installation or failed uninstall. You have to manually go through the registry to remove references to the current install before the installer will attempt a new install. Please add an option to go ahead with installation even if traces of a previous install are found. see also tech support cases 00454949 and 00455000
