In another aPaas (LongJump.com) I have created apps that use many dozens of views, so alpha sort of view names is critical in order for the user to scan the list of views and quickly find the needed view. I have created 4 views in my first Rollbase app (here's a screen shot)... http://snag.gy/VJkkx.jpg ...and I am finding that the views sort by last used. This is already confusing with just 4 views and would be painful to use if there are dozens or hundreds of views. In one of my LongJump.com apps, my users work on new projects that contain a list of records. Since LongJump sorts view names in alpha order, I can simply name my views so that they sort with the newest project at the top. Here's what that looks like... http://snag.gy/yU3it.jpg ...I can't imagine how I would be able to manage this same work in Rollbase since view names will be all over and change each time a view is used. In my LongJump view list, it's easy to find a project from last year by scrolling down and locating it by sorted project number... http://snag.gy/5Falk.jpg ...note that older view names start with higher project numbers (9701). I number my projects BACKWARDS from 9999 so that newest projects are sorted to the top of the view list. I complete around 50 projects per year, so my number scheme will work for a long time. Thanks for considering this idea - Chris
