LOCATION:

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
3+ years commercial experience of any 4GL development environment, but preferably Progress, Informix, Sculptor, Oracle Forms or Sybase.
Commercial experience of XTML & XML.
UNIX & Windows based operating and development environments.
Good knowledge of data access, reporting tools (eg SQL) & testing methodologies.
Experience of full product life cycle – specification, design, coding, testing, documentation.
DBA skills and knowledge of Delphi would be advantageous.
Ability to understand user needs and translate these into a working, verifiable design.
Commercial awareness and an appreciation of current IT issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand clearly the requirement of the design for the software module as assigned.
Develop a detailed verifiable program design, according to established quality standards.
Produce program to meet specification and acceptance criteria.
Participate in implementation and provide ongoing support of software.
Provide documentation as appropriate for software produced, according to published standards.
Update own knowledge of latest technologies and products.
