Advanced Software, Inc. of Yardley, Pennsylvania wishes to hire an
employee with PROGRESS V9 GUI experience in GUI programming, database
conversion and windows networking. Candidate must have experience
in NT and 2000 networking, configuring business forms for progress
version 9 and converting V8 to V9 database. Knowledge of progress
smart objects would be a plus.
Advanced Software has been in business since 1991 providing accounting,
distribution and manufacturing software to manufacturers of folding
cartons and corrugated boxes. We have converted our progress version 8
character code to progress version 9 running on windows NT, 2000, 95,
8, and XP. Your responsibility will be to help convert the majority of
our clients to our new windows version.
Working experience with manufacturing or distribution software is
required. The ideal candidate must have experience converting V8
databases to V9 databases and experience trouble shooting printer
issues resulting from this conversion.
