Software to provide a complete solution to the Midrange Discrete
Manufacturer including software, services and support.
Job Description: The successful candidate will meet with customers to
analyze their needs, develop project specifications, and create an
estimate to develop the project. This individual will then work
independently or within a group to write the required software, create
end user and technical documentation, install the custom software, and
train the end users in its use. Some travel is required.
Technical Requirements:
* 3-5 years client/server design experience
* Good Project management skills
* Strong Analytical, Technical, Problem Solving, and
Organizational skills
* Prior experience in accurately estimating project costs
* Self starter with ability to work independently or within a group
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* Application development using Progress GUI, Smart Objects,
and WebSpeed
* Familiarity with current Microsoft .NET architecture a plus
* MSCE Certification a Plus
* Familiarity with UNIX, MS Windows, and Web environments
* Familiarity with ERP packages, Epicor, Symix, SyteLine
Database: Progress, SQL
Languages: Progress, WebSpeed, C#, SQL, Visual Basic, Java
Degree required: BS or higher

Other: The successful candidate will be a non-smoker who is a U.S. citizen
or a green card holder who is eligible to work in the United States.
