A 23 year old leader in providing connectivity solutions for voice and
data systems, Custom Cable Industries, Inc. is seeking a PROGRESS
Programmer/Analyst who will work with the Information Systems Team Members
and end users to analyze, design, construct, test, implement, and support
the applications needed by the business.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide analytical and programming support for the current Syteline
ERP systems in Tampa, Florida with outside offices in Central and
Southeast Florida.
* Perform functional analysis to identify ways in which business
processes may be improved.
* Develop project plans for system improvement, including training
and implementation.
* Design, develop, test, document and implement programs in the
Syteline environment.
* Partner with other Team Members to upgrade the current Syteline
system to Syteline version 6.
* Support ongoing Continuous Improvement Projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum of 2 years PROGRESS experience in CHUI and GUI.
* Experience with V9 of PROGRESS a plus, but not required.
* Webspeed, JavaScript and HTML a plus, but not required.
* Familiarity with programming standards.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook a plus, but not required.
OTHER SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS
* Must be a self-starter.
* Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
* Must be able to problem solve independently and as part of a team.
* Must be a good communicator (verbal and written).
