Delaware Valley Wholesale Florist is a leader in the international
floral industry and is conveniently located in Southern New Jersey.
This position is required to handle a variety of tasks including but
not limited to maintenance of existing third party modules, maintenance
of existing in-house modules, new development, and bug tracking/resolution.
Primary development environment is a PROGRESS V9 GUI environment with
a UNIX database server. Mixed environment of PCs and thin clients
support some in-house staff and remote users via Citrix. Daily support
of end-user requests and post implementation follow-up also required.
Strong user interviewing skills necessary as developer will also be
assuming role of analyst.
Fully rounded individual to handle all aspects of SDLC is preferred.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years PROGRESS programming experience,
both GUI and ChUI, with a minimum of 2 GUI, PROGRESS ADM2 knowledge. HP-UX,
Perl, WebSpeed, Appserver, Apprise ERP and wholesale/manufacturing background
a plus. Must be authorized to work in U.S., no H1s. We offer very
