Senior Systems Analyst with Progress programming experience needed for our
client for 6- to 9-month contract. Candidate will perform routine and other
necessary tasks to maintain business information system availability and
operational performance. Will also provide backup to System Administrator in
his/her absence. Must possess effective communication skills, be customer
service-oriented and be able to work under limited supervision.
Location:
Princeton, NJ
Duration:
6-9 months approximate duration
Rate:
$40-50/hour DOE + travel per diem
Start Date:
Mid- to late June, 2003.
Required skills:
* 4+ years experience in IT, preferably in the pharmaceutical /
bio-medical industry.
* 4+ years experience with Progress Programming (version 7-9)
* 2+ years experience with QAD MFG/PRO, recent versions
* Experience with ERP system concepts required.
* No H1-B sponsorships considered at this time.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Develop and document procedures to support routine system
operation and maintain system validation status.
* Develop simple queries and reports to meet user needs.
* Provide high-level system navigation and usage training.
* Interact with system users to troubleshoot and resolve problems
and user requests.
* Review and catalog all significant support requests.
* Configure user workstation and peripherals for system access.
* Document user requirement specifications to serve as input for
evaluating customizations.
Desired, not required:
* SQL, MS Office Products a plus.
* Great Plains experience a plus.
* Knowledge of manufacturing, finance, cGMPs and validated
systems a plus.
