OpenLink][ODBC]the broker cannot resolve your request

Hi guys,

I am trying to configure openlink odbc driver for connecting to a progress server.

I am using Openlink MT driver, while testing I am getting the following error - "OpenLink][ODBC]the broker cannot resolve your request"

Can you please suggest me what can be done to resolve the issue?

Hi, Sheshadri --

I'm sorry we failed to see this posting sooner.

The error message you reported indicates that your ODBC client OpenLink DSN has been configured with a "Provider Type" or "Database Domain" which has not been configured in the OpenLink Request Broker Rulebook.

The DSN "Domain" tells the Broker where to look in the Rulebook, for server-side configurations. In the Rulebook, these configurations may include over-rides of client-side attributes, settings which are more complex than users need to know about, or sensitive information which should only be available to database administrators.

The fact that you're receiving the error may indicate a misconfiguration on either side of the OpenLink connection.
