While I appreciate the more frequent releases of new OpenEdge versions with new functionality, I think Progress really has forgotten about deployment troubles that this is causing. Updating to a new OpenEdge version on the end customers sites is a really time consuming process, we cannot do every half a year. Reading that a bug of 11.3 is fixed in 11.4 really makes me think, if it is a good idea to use OpenEdge 11.x at all. So what I would need is a LTS version of OpenEdge 11.x that will be supported with service packs for at least 5 years.
