I've just made a template installation for the Enterprise RDBMS and Enterprise AppServer product on RHEL 7.4 with proinst.
We do not use nor plan to use OE Management in any way - therefore, to me, it is a superfluous component which is installed additionally out-of-the-box. This has bothered me for a long time now. Right now I just remove the oemgmt folder and didn't have any issues with that so far. But I would prefer to not have it installed in the first place.
Out of curiosity: Has somebody found a "graceful" way to get rid of the superfluous OE Management installation - or is it graceful to just remove its installation folder?
