ODBC Connection ( Merant 3.7) MS SQL 2000 to Progress 9.1D

Hello , am just join a fiancial company and am making some change in there database system , well am totally unaware of progress thus am migrating the data from progess 9.1d to MS SQL 2000 using Merant 3.7 ODBC .
But , it not working when trying to configure the odbc using Merant 3.7. I get the floowing error ,( " specified driver could not be loaded
due to system error 128 " ) when using OpenDataLink access driver its says " [OpenLink][ODBC]OpenLink Communications Line Broken"

well any idea or faq or manaul regarding the odbc conection will be apricate thx
 
Have you had any progress on this one? I'm receiving the same error every time I hit the Progress Database from my Java program.
