We are currently seeking an individual to provide pre-sales support for an
application maintenance outsourcing project. The resource would serve on
the project team in a project management or technical lead capacity.
Pre-sales task: participate in multiple discovery meetings with clients to
gain an understanding of their application and systems environments (for a
particular application), possibly including several meetings with several
users at several locations.
Mandatory Requirements:
Hands-on experience with one or more off-the-shelf software packages
covering sales and distribution, logistics, and warehouse management in a
manufacturing distribution environment (mandatory). Particular environment
is sales and distribution of machinery spare parts. This could be in a
project management, design, or system operations role.
Optional Requirements (nice to have):
Knowledge and experience with Progress 4GL, especially from an
operations/sys admin point of view (coding not necessary)
Knowledge and experience with Nxtrend packages,
specifically the Nxtrend modules SX.Enterprise, SX.Intelligence,
SX.Logistics, SX2Go, and bizLinx.
