Notes Field

We are running 2g01 on NT and we are trying to find where the notes for the
customer order line items is kept to be able to print on a report. As well
has anybody done this in Sytepower or Progress? We specificially want the
2nd line item out of the notes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Notes in syteline for all tables are stored in the central notes table.
Each table that references it has a key field, for example, coitem.key.
Each line of the notes is stored in sequential records (notes.seq =
1,2,3,4,5).


Try this out:

display coitem.co-num coitem.co-line coitem.co-release with stream-io.

for each notes no-lock
where notes.key = coitem.key:
display notes.txt with stream-io.
