When does one typically run?

rfutil qadjag-C aimage begin

Would it be after
$DLC/bin/prostrct create $DATADIR/qadjag $STDIR/qadjag.st -blocksize 8192
$DLC/bin/prorest $DATADIR/qadjag $COPYDIR/qadprod.bu.136

I am sort of confused. For example, if I restore a db from an online backup that had AI turned on, do I need to run the rfutil qadjag-C aimage begin

on the restored db to have AI running again?

If you restore a database AI is turned of. So after restore you have to turn on AI again.

You can do a prorest without the prostrct create BTW. Just pust the right st file in place, prorest, and the database is restored the way you want it.
