Question Need to update open edge version 11.7.9 to 11.7.20

Hi Tom and Team,

We need to update the open edge version 11.7.9 to 11.7.20service installation pack because of security issue and fixes.
Os = Linux

Can you please tell me steps in detail? Does in impact on existing version? Will it overwrite in existing version? How can we test this?
Please assise me to update in detail.

If it didn't, there wouldn't be any point in updating.

Will it overwrite in existing version?

Yes.

How can we test this?

You test an OpenEdge update the same way you test any other change before deploying it to production: on your test server, with production-like code, data, and configuration.

It is also a very good idea to read all of the release notes for updates 11.7.10 through 11.7.20, so you understand what has changed and what you should test.
