need likes ?

Apparently you need at least 3 likes to be able to insert web links into your posts on this forum, even for links to www. progress.com.
What's up with this ?
How do i get these likes ?

It's to prevent spambots from just registering and spamming loads of links. Not an ideal solution, but it, along with other measures, has made a massive difference.
