When using RuleTests within Corticon Studio, Studio completely freezes when large quantities of results are returned with either the Return All Entity Instances or Return Incoming/ New Entity Instances Only option selected (within Ruletest -- Testsheet -- Database Access menu-option). This seems to be caused by parsing the large sized XML that is returned. Idea: I'd like to see a 3rd option being added in Corticon Studio, being None . The Ruletest -- Testsheet -- Database Access menu-options would look like this: None Read Read/ Update -------------------------------------- None Return All Entity Instances Return Incoming/ New Entity Instances Only With the option None selected, no XML will be returned to the output-field of a testsheet and thus Corticon Studio will not completely freeze. This might be very usefull when making large amounts of database-entries, of which the results can be checked with a database managementtool (like SQL Explorer). Otherwise, the XML in the output-field of a testsheet will completely lock Corticon Studio.
