Hi Peggers

MFG/PRO has a limit of 1000 planned orders per item/site combination. We have
a order policy of LFL for all components.

For approx 30 components which are practically used in all vehicle seats, our
planned order count exceeds 1000. We can find out a list of these items from
MRP Action message report by selecting action message 1015.

But is there any report/utility available which will tell the count of number
of planned orders calculated for each part. For example I need to find out all
components which have more then 700 planned orders..... I can change the order
policy of these components.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Anupam,

To answer your question simply, I'd take a look at the Planned Order
Browse, see what table it's using (mrp_det, I believe), and write a simple
Progress query against that table to show me any parts with more than 700
planned orders.

However, I'd like to get this "fixed". Please call this into QAD support
and request removal of this 1000 planned order limit as a bug. Include my
name as a reference for them to contact, and we'll get this limitation
removed. IMHO, it shouldn't be there.
